This historical tour will take a look at the buildings, stores and people of the pre-war Powell Street district, Vancouver's Nihon-machi. The tours are free and are approximately 45 minutes. Meet on the southeast corner of Powell & Jackson.
The Nikkei National Museum will also have a display in the Vancouver Buddhist Temple (220 Jackson Avenue). The Museum is dedicated to collecting, preserving and educating others about Japanese Canadian history.
