With mentorship from the Vancouver Sumo Fun Club, PSF hosts a Sumo Tournament for festival visitors. Do you have what it takes to be the Yokozuna (Grand Champion)? Festival visitors – men and women alike – are encouraged to take part in this exciting competition. To win, you must force your opponent out of the circle! But if you get forced out – or if any of your body parts others than the soles of your feet touch the dohyo (ring) – you lose! Pre-registration required. On Sunday, sign up near the water cart between 12 and 2pm.
