Sunday, 5:00pm – 5:30pm, Street Stage
A dandelion gone to seed and losing its seeds to wind is for Matt, a symbol of how post-internment resettlement across Canada and the re-fracturing of Japanese Canadian communi- ties continues to resonate with younger generation Japanese Canadians. They live with the gentlest of demands from older generations to remain ‘Japanese’, but how? Come hear a Dan- delion speak in this performance by Matt Miwa.
